About MyMapLog
A personal map for places you want to save and remember.
What is MyMapLog
MyMapLog is a service for saving places on a map together with coordinates, photos, dates, and notes. Places can be grouped into collections to preserve trip history, favorite locations, and other personal sets.
The main idea
MyMapLog was created not as another social network, but as a personal space for your own history of places. You do not need followers, likes, a public profile, or to publish everything you save.
Private by default
Saved places, collections, photos, and notes are private by default. They become available to other people only when the owner explicitly enables sharing and provides the relevant link.
When sharing a collection, the owner can control access to individual places inside it. Adding a place to a collection does not make it public by itself.
Not a navigator or social network
MyMapLog helps you save a place and return to it later, but it does not replace dedicated navigation services. Routes and coordinates should be checked with current sources before an important trip.
The service is also not built around public profiles, feeds, followers, likes, or comments.
What you can use it for
- save places you want to return to;
- keep a history of trips and journeys;
- keep photos and notes connected to a specific place;
- group places into personal collections;
- when needed, share an individual place or selected collection by link.
Service development
MyMapLog continues to evolve. New features are added gradually, with priority given to clarity, data privacy, and preserving places and share links already created by users.
