Terms of Use
The basic rules for using MyMapLog.
Purpose of the service
MyMapLog is a service for saving places, coordinates, photos, notes, and collections, and for deliberately sharing selected data through a link.
The service is provided for personal and lawful use.
Account and security
The user is responsible for keeping sign-in credentials secure and for actions performed through their account.
You must not share account access in a way that creates a security risk for the service or other users' data.
User content
Users retain rights to their own photos, notes, and other materials uploaded to MyMapLog.
By uploading materials, the user allows MyMapLog to technically store, process, and display them as necessary to provide the service and the sharing features selected by the user.
Users must have the right to store and publish the materials they add to the service.
Sharing by link
Places and collections are private by default. Other people gain access only after the user explicitly creates a share link or enables a place within a shared collection.
The user is responsible for who receives a share link. Anyone who has a valid link may access the data allowed by that link.
A share link can be disabled, replaced, or deleted through MyMapLog. After that, previous access ends according to the current sharing settings.
Prohibited use
You must not use MyMapLog for:
- unlawful activity or storing material whose distribution is prohibited by law;
- spam, phishing, fraud, or attempts to mislead other people;
- attacks on the service, bypassing restrictions, automated link enumeration, or unauthorized access to other users' data;
- uploading malicious files or performing actions that create excessive load on the infrastructure;
- infringing the rights of others, including rights relating to photos, personal data, and intellectual property.
Prohibited content and reports
MyMapLog is not intended for storing or distributing sexually explicit material, pornography, or content created primarily for sexual arousal.
Any sexual material involving minors, or content that sexualizes minors, is strictly prohibited.
Also prohibited are non-consensual intimate images, threats, harassment, publishing another person's personal data or coordinates with the intent to cause harm, and excessively violent or shocking content shared primarily for shock value.
MyMapLog and its share links must not be used as hosting for prohibited material, spam, phishing, malicious files, or other activity that violates these terms.
MyMapLog does not pre-screen every uploaded file and does not guarantee immediate detection of violations. Users are responsible for the content they upload and make available to others.
If a violation is discovered or a substantiated report is received, MyMapLog may restrict access to the material, disable sharing, remove prohibited content, or restrict or terminate access to the account.

Restriction or termination of access
MyMapLog may temporarily restrict or terminate access to an account in case of serious or repeated violations of these rules, attempts to attack the service, or threats to data and infrastructure.
Where practical, the user will be notified of significant account status changes using the available contact information.
Service availability
MyMapLog is under active development and may change. Individual features may be updated, temporarily unavailable, or replaced.
We aim to provide a stable service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability without maintenance, errors, or failures of external providers.
Responsibility for saved information
MyMapLog is intended as a personal map and history of places, but should not be used as the sole source of critical information, navigation, or emergency data.
Before a trip or other important action, users should independently verify the accuracy and current relevance of coordinates, routes, and other information.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as MyMapLog evolves, features change, or security and operational requirements change.
Material changes will be published on this page.
